I’m looking forward to being done with data collection. While it’s not difficult, I feel like it’s taking some of my attention away from my students as I’m trying to write down my observations and tally different categories. I think we will continue to do the flipped classroom after the study is over whether my question proves that it affects grades or not, because it is allowing me to get to know the boys better. It’s been a good experience in that case and I’ll be able to do more because the data collection won’t be having to happen. Plus, the boys seem to enjoy it and if it makes school more enjoyable, while helping them either maintain or improve their grades I think it’s a positive.
